Highschool

This is what highschool is to me...

A joke.

Whoever came up with the bright idea of shoving over 2,000 kids inside the same building for 6 and a half hours obviously had some sort of chemical imbalance inside their tiny, disgusting, prudish mind.

I'm sure it was a blue blooded man who has never had to set foot around other people who look down upon him simply because they're not from Alpine.

I have never seen so many fake people locked up in the same place.

You all make me sicker and sicker every single day.

You wanna know the reason I am at school roughly 2-3 days a week? Read the first word of the paragraph.

I can honestly look around the room and not see a single person I will miss.

Okay maybe 2 or 3.

All the girls compliment each other on fashion, then proceed to mock what they claimed to like as the other girl has her back turned.

I can see the judgmental looks of boys at other boys because they talked to the girl they like.

I stumble upon half eaten conversations about how this person slept with this person. How this person did this to this person, and how this person gave this person this drug.

You wanna know why I sit in the corner with headphones in my ears and always invested in a book? Once again, reading the first word of this paragraph will be the answer to the question.

I sit next to a girl that everyone assumes is my best friend, but she's never hung out with me outside of school in years.

Once again, people assume things when they don't know.

I hear the loudest talk over my music about the quietest subjects. The small talk seems to be the biggest thing in the room.

It amazes me how long a conversation about the weather can last. I mean let's get real. I have eyes, don't tell me about the damn weather! I don't care!!! Ahh!!!

I see smiles that turn into frowns once others walk away, and others raise a brow to symbolize that they're more righteous than you.

I'm sorry but that bitch face you walk around with won't get you anywhere in life.

Maybe if everyone started putting themselves in other peoples shoes before spreading a rumor, before judging someone else, etc... Then maybe people would enjoy coming to school a little more.

Someone gave up their own life because of feeling left out and judged by their classmates. That really makes me upset.

But you wanna know the worst part?

The people who say that there's nothing wrong with the school and say they do nothing wrong are the people who have done the most damage.

Yes, I know our school should come together, but we don't. Just because you think we do, is only because you get together with your football team and the cheerleaders or whatever and shut everyone else who isn't 'popular' out.

Has it ever occurred to some of you that the reason why some people hate school is because you try so hard for it to be the best years of your life, you have to make it hell for everyone else?

Sorry, but if highschool is the peak of your lifespan... I feel more than sorry for you.

P.s. the ones who do go to school to try and make it fun and easier for everyone else, all I have to say is thank you. You're the ones who will go far in life.

P.s.s. sorry about my rants lately... And also, I'm not sorry so...
