In lust we trust

Lust.
    Now that we got that word out of the way, ask yourself, what is lust? Lust is 'Love at first sight' lust is the way you look at someone and your jaw drops simply because they have a big chest, or nice package. (Don't pretend we have never looked at those places, we're all human.)
Let me ask you, why do we confuse love with lust, and without question, use the words interchangeably? Its simple. We don't know what we want. We don't know how we feel. You say you love me, yet you leave me. It's because you don't know what love is, no one knows what love is.

Love isn't real.

I was a firm believer of love until I realized love like that doesn't exist. Like Santa, we all believed in him, until we grow up and discover our parents are Santa, and have lied to you your whole life. There's such thing as a love a parent having love for their child. You can tell by the firmness in their voice when they yell at you to look both ways before crossing the street. Feels like the sharp winter air hitting against your lungs. You know you're startled by the temperature, but you know you're safe. I believe there's the love you have for a best friend, the kind that you want to bitch slap them for stabbing you in the back over and over again, cutting you in the same wound you never thought could be opened again and you pick yourself up like nothing happened, but you always end up apologizing because you can't imagine life without them beside you...
I'm a firm believer of lust. I lust over people all of the time. We all do, because we are human.
They say love is an emotion. But it's not. You feel happy today. You feel scared today. You feel love today? No. That doesn't even make sense!!!
Someone please help me understand how that's even proper grammar?
Side note: Chris Brown 'loved' Rihanna and beat the shit out of her. Yep, if that's not love, I dunno what is...
Why are people so stupid??? WHY DO YOU BELIEVE SOMETHING THAT'S NOT REAL??? LOVE IS BULLSHIT!
I know you're thinking, "But there is such thing as love between a man and a woman!" Good for you, believe whatever you want.
Let me tell you something I've gathered  from 'Love'... 'Love' has left my mother alone to raise 3 kids on her own, while he came and went as he pleased. 'Love' has left one of my best friends pregnant in highschool without anyone to hold her hand through raising a child. 'Love' took another one of my friends life. 'Love' is the reason why people can't be just friends. 'Love' is reckless. 'Love' is the reason people murder people. If you think about it, 'love' does way more harm than good. 'Love' is what made me pretend that you still wanted to be a part of my life... Until I woke up and realized I was just in denial this whole time.
Please don't let me change your mind about love, I mean what do I know? I'm but only a 17 year old girl talking to you via a mandatory blog. Believe what you want!!!
I'll be the one with the successful career where you never have to get attached anyone, never have to settle down in one place, always moving and exploring life without the distractions that just end up making you feel used.
Don't worry about me, I'll continue to walk on my own seashore, in awe over the ocean, never again will I be dipping my toes in to just see how it feels, because there is such thing as tsunami's, they pull you in hard and fast, before you know it, there's a 50 foot wave over you, as you crash against the ocean floor, you think, I shouldn't of even tried, because look where it has left me... Alone and scared.
