Temporarily living

Everything around me is going away. Out with the old, in with the new. I seem to have a problem with it but no one else notices.

We temporarily go to elementary till we temporarily go to middle. Then as fast as we're there we leave to temporarily go to highschool. We make temporary friends, until one of us kisses your ex, or you find a boyfriend or whatever. Your temporary relationships change to another temporary friendship till you temporarily go go college.

**If you say temporary or temporarily long enough it begins to sound funny and leaves you questioning the meaning.**

You temporarily go to college to work at a temporary job with temporary coworkers. You temporarily date until you find the one you'll temporarily be married to. Then, you temporarily find a temporary house to get until you temporarily find the next house. Until you temporarily have kids and they start the same temporary process you went through. You then temporarily raise them till they move out and you temporarily wait to be grandparents and temporarily go on your senior couples cruises until one day you wake up and your spouse isn't longer yours. They gave up their ghost as fast as they got their temporary life. You watched their life slip through your fingers, and all you have left are those temporary moments. And you temporarily keep yourself busy until you never wake up again.

Why do people take everything for granted when nothing ever lasts???

Is that the only thing in life that's permanent? Death...?

To me life is so temporary. Nothing will last. The beauty is to enjoy your life without looking at how temporary it us, I guess. But I don't understand. Is life not supposed to be lived temporarily?

Makes me think... What really lasts?
